This may be the best movie ever made.

It was nice of Ah-ha to give up his quest to obtain the world record in Donkey Kong to spend time dispersing wisdom like this.

When I first saw this I was a tad befuddled - which should be the normal reaction. Then I saw this is from Roger Nygard, who also made Trekkies and I got it. Believe it or not, this actually has a chance of being a brilliant piece of snarky documentary.

I'm sure they'll follow up with a sympathetic look at a Catholic priest who was wrongly convicted of sexual abuse...wait, no? Hmmm. I wonder why?

Take an exception and paint the whole thing a travesty. This certainly stinks of agitprop to me. Let's see if I'm wrong.

I would be interesting to check the finances of the film. Who paid for this?

How about getting the Government out of all of aspects of society? Maybe if they weren't babysitting everyone and actually sticking to what they are supposed to be doing we wouldn't need such a ridiculous code.

Better yet, how about dropping the income tax altogether?

I'm interested to see how they handle this and if they can approach the subject without it turning into a propaganda piece.

This is strange, but it does look like it could be interesting. I have to give them credit, the trailer managed to pull me in despite the rather odd topic. I can't place why.

What a lousy ad. So you show some jerk acting like a jerk. Why should we care? Why should we drop ten bucks to watch this?

Graffiti is not an art, its vandalism. You "express yourself" and make someone else cough up for the cleaning bill. If you're an artist you can make it on your own dime. Otherwise you're just a punk.

I don't think it would be possible to experience the horror - and I mean actual horror - of sitting through Troll 2 and not want to see this documentary.

Troll 2 is the second worst film ever made.* The fact that he hasn't been burned at the stake by now is a miracle in itself.

Oh c'mon, buck up. What's the worst that could happen?

Well, that and my fear of spiders.

Who is the old guy gaping his soup cooler thinking he's plopping out pearls of wisdom? If he blathers like this through the whole movie it might make it worth seeing. What's more fun than someone offering bromides as advanced thought?*

I know Alzheimer's and Parkinsons are terrible diseases and people have horrible times coping with them. As someone who has a pacemaker and suffers with heart disease, I would like to see a cure for my aliments before I croak, which is unlikely...the cure part, I'm certain I will eventually croak. I find it irritating when people spout out lines like the guy in this trailer "we can't wait until tomorrow". As if we're all just too lazy to find the cure that sitting up in the attic.

The cure for aliments like Alzheimer's, cancer, Parkinson's or diabetes, whatever, isn't found by climbing rocks and making feel good movies to spread awareness. There are over 26 million people worldwide with Alzheimer's', we know its there. Cures are found by allowing scientists to do work unencumbered by politics and corporate intrusion. By letting the right people follow their leads and hunches. In other words, letting scientists perform science.

Listen, you want a cause that is really going to save lives? How about sparing the 1.8 million people (mostly children) from dying of diarrhea every year. Get out water tablets and proper facilities to all corners of the Earth, THAT is something that can't wait any longer. Instead of wasting resources climbing a mountain and filming it how about taking all of those funds and doing something to fight back the 400 million cases of malaria every year? It is amazing how many mosquito nets one can buy for the price of one self-congratulatory documentary.

Less movies about curing diseases and more work on actually getting it done. Deal? We don't need more awareness. We need the money to go to less bureaucrats and non-profits admins and to more actual scientists who can use it to fund their research.

Just sayin'.

I am interested to see how they handle this. Given that its Participant Media (An Inconvenient Truth, Chicago 10, Food, Inc., Jimmy Carter Man From Plains, Good Night & Good Luck, North Country) I'm pretty comfortable assuming this won't be a balanced look. For starters, you can't talk about modern political corruption and just stop with the Bush Admin ignoring Obama and the crew he unleashed. It would be like complaining the Great Lakes are wet and ignoring the Atlantic.

A great subject for a documentary - if it's on the level.

Given that the trailer drags out ol' Tricky Dick and Kissinger as the villains attempting to hide something, while ignoring the scope of what the Pentagon Papers revealed, indicates this probably is slanted.

The "Pentagon Papers" are actually United States–Vietnam Relations, 1945–1967: A Study Prepared by the Department of Defense. 1945-1967...what is it about that span of time? hmm...

Oh, that's it, for the whole 22 years, 8 were under a Republican administration. 14 years of Democratic control ignored and the thing is hung on Nixon.

I wonder if the film bothers explaining LBJ's flagrant lies and misdirections about Vietnam? What of JFK's involvement in the region? If not, its a crock.

I'm not sure why someone needs to see the film after seeing the trailer. What is the film going to tell us that isn't explained in the ad? A couple of average folks build a world class art collection. And then..? That's it?

I'm willing to allow they may make some good points, but I am also willing to bet I will want to punch them in the face the whole time they're doing it. You see, the problem with liberals is not that they don't reveal important things, its that they make it about themselves. Honestly, who gives a darn your personal sissy reasons for what you're doing? Just tell us what the issue is!
