The soundtrack made me feel like I was watching the trailer in my dentist's waiting room.

Let's move the kid from the clean, supportive, resource-rich environment to go live with the abusive ex-con with a drinking problem...what could go wrong?

The trailer does a good job of setting up the conflict, but didn't do too much to make me want to see the film. The truth is that I'm not really the audience, so take that into consideration. I will say that the ad could have pulled back on the sweeping, melodramatic arcs a bit and focused itself a little more, but nothing is ever perfect.

If it is coming from M. Night Shamalamadingdong that means it may look compelling but will disappoint. This could be good, in the right hands. Since this was co-directed by Drew Dowdle and John Erick Dowdle who created The Poughkeepsie Tapes (pseudo-documentary filmed from the point-of-view of a serial killer) I think it safe to assume we're not going to be treated to a thoughtful classic of suspense - expect cheap horror and fake blood.

Having a disability and trying to make it as an artist has to be tough. Then again, being non-disabled and trying to make it as an artist is tough on its own. I see this trailer and I could care less that they are deaf.

Stevie Wonder, Marlee Matlin, Alicia Alonso, Jose Feliciano and other disabled artists succeeded not because they focused on their disabilities but because they focused on their art. The trailer for this film seems a little too much like a pity party. I could care less if an artist is deaf, blind or whatever - all that matters to me is the fruit of their labor. By drawing attention to their disability, it makes me think they need to play to my sympathy to cover for their lack of talent.

I debated if I should even post this thing. I chose to post it so that people know its out there.

The original I Spit on Your Grave is a 1978 also known as The Rape and Revenge of Jennifer Hills or The Day of the Woman. It is a hyper-violent, feminist revenge fantasy. The rape and revenge title pretty much says it all.

There is no reason for this movie to have been remade. This is a film made about sick people to be viewed by equally sick people.

The fact that this is remade and released into the general public and no one even notices shows how far we have fallen as a culture. Remaking this is truly a dog returning to its vomit.

Caution: The images in this trailer can be disturbing for some viewers.

Based on the comic books of the same name, this film follows the exploits of a palooka scraping by in a zombie infested world.

The trailer itself doesn't really offer a reason to hunt this movie down. Its not funny and the animation isn't anything you can't see on a trailer for Team Fortress. It will probably speak to its core audience however (read undergrad morons).

"Unforgettable...A hothouse of sensuality, bad white people, bad rich white people and white guilt."

It will be a beautiful film, that is certain. The story? Doesn't look too impressive, but it is Merchant Ivory, so it could be good.

There's no reason to not think this will as dumb, useless and forgettable as everything else Rodriquez has pooped out into cinemas. The man has made a career out of lowering standards and dumbing down audiences. He's Tarantino without the talent.

I think it is safe to say that if you're looking forward to this, you're part of the problem, not the solution.

"If you believe in God, you have to believe in the devil." Technically, not true since God created Lucifer, there was a time when God existed and Lucifer did not. You can have the Almighty without the little snickering jerk.

I sincerely doubt this will be any good. It looks like a mix of Paranormal Activity and The Exorcism of Emily Rose. Doesn't sound like a good combo. The fact this comes from Eli Roth, who is a crap merchant (Hostel, Cabin Fever), only serves to further my assumption.

The odd thing is that in the third act of the movie, the alien travels from Mexico into the United States, has a baby, soaks off the American tax payer for free education, housing and healthcare and then kills a couple of kids while drunk driving. When the U.S. military shows up to fight the alien the ACLU and other Marxist groups arrive and demands we call it an "undocumented extra terrestrial" and claims everyone who doesn't want the alien around is a racist.

They can do that because it's fiction and is nothing like reality.*

* - if it were more like reality the alien would also be smuggling sex slaves across the border, raping children in the border deserts and establishing crime syndicates in all major U.S. cities.

Zack Snyder's films are visual feasts. There is no one working who can touch him on his design work, even Terry Gilliam.

Visuals is nothing - story is everything. Snyder has problems with story. 300 was his best film because it mixed his design talents with a well structured and delivered story.

I fail to see any real story here. It certainly appears to be yet more content free moviemaking. Time will tell.

The riff they use in the soundtrack in this commercial for a children's movie - Tone Loc's Wild Thing, a song about Tone Loc having sex with a number of women and having a run in with a whore. A song sampling from Van Halen's Jamie's Cryin - A song about a girl who turns down a man who wants to have sex and is not upset over her choice.

What exactly are the Smurfs doing in this movie?

A very strong ad. It shows the story without revealing too much or going on too long.
