Movie Trailer: The Smurfs
The riff they use in the soundtrack in this commercial for a children's movie - Tone Loc's Wild Thing, a song about Tone Loc having sex with a number of women and having a run in with a whore. A song sampling from Van Halen's Jamie's Cryin - A song about a girl who turns down a man who wants to have sex and is not upset over her choice.

What exactly are the Smurfs doing in this movie?

In the movie trailers before "Despicable Me", several kids movies (Nanny McPhee and something else I can't even remember) were previewed. All of the trailers used 70s to 90s rock ballads at some point. My wife and I decided that they were attempting to reach the parents because they're the ones who decide if the little monster can go to a given movie or not. The idea that they're using sex lyrics to get over the decision gate is really pretty sad.
