Movie Trailer: Pineapple Express
As a rule, be wary any film that has the main characters flying through the air in a car screaming at the top of their lungs.

The fact that the trailer doesn't show anything funny is another hint that his may not be the top of line.

Two potheads get caught up in a drug killing and are hunted down by zany hit men. While on the run, said potheads learn about themselves and life and everything gets tied up into a nice little bow in the end.

Who knows, maybe all the red flags are for nothing and this will be a great comedic gem.

Yeah, I kinda doubt it too.

I gotta really disaree with you on this one. I find alot to like in this trailer. But I am a fan of this type of a humor as well...not really stoner humor but the part where he sees the murder and he is coughing/yelling and trying to get away fast but making more ruckus makes me laugh alot. The jumping into the dumpster and following lines are giggle worthy and him trying to kick the window made me chuckle as well.

I can definitely see though that this is a film to which you have to have an acquired taste for this type of humor.

Humor is in the eye of the beholder of course. I'd love it if this was hilarious - we need good comedies. With the apparently by-the-numbers plot, the jokes better come fast and furious to pull this off.

I'm not a good one to critique comedies--I find them all uniformly distasteful, these days, with RARE exceptions involving lots of arm-twisting by my less curmudgeonly friends. :-)

Still, from what you say, this pineapple looks like a lemon.
