Dutch (1991)
Should I see it?
No.

A unbearably snotty rich kid goes on a road trip with his mother's blue collar doofus boyfriend who effectively abuses aforementioned kid. Written by John Hughes (Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club, Home Alone), this movie is a string of joyless gags and fumbling dialog. Watching it now it may see ridiculous something so poorly written could be made, the fact is that at the time Hughes seemed like he could do no wrong. This is proof positive he could. It is too cute for its own good, its not funny and the characters are unlikeable.
