Léon: The Professional (1994)
Should I see it?
No.

I’m a huge fan of Jean Reno and I still can’t recommend this outing. Derivative of Luc Besson’s La Femme Nikita, Reno revives his role of Victor the Cleaner but under a new name. The main issue with this film is that Besson toys with notions of pedophilia when the main character takes in a very young Natalie Portman. The relationship between the two is provocative and therefore just wrong. Even if one is morally retarded and isn’t put off by the insinuations made in the film, its still not a good piece of cinema. All style and no story.
