Ewww! He kissed his sister!

Its good to have a look at the first version in all of its flawed but original glory. Its probably just my sentimentality but I think seeing the original, before it was cleaned up, is best.

Movie Trailer: The Bridge on the River Kwai
David Lean is one of the best directors of all time, here's the proof. This film so defined the POW film that every one since then has been a derivative of it. Apart from Stalag 17, probably the most influential POW movie of all time.
