Movie Trailer: We Are Marshall
Yes, Matthew McConaughey's performance is somewhat frantic, but it still works. A bunch of college kids die and the survivors band together to play football. Its a simple and effective premise and director McG handles the material with some class. As far as sports movies go, its a solid pick.

Wonderfully well told story, very good direction and very good acting make for a compelling story that leave you feeling good about humanity despite everything.
