End of Days (1999)
Should I see it?
It’s Arnold Schwarzenegger battling the Antichrist, of course not!

Short Review: It will have you pleading for the Rapture so you won’t have to see the whole movie.

An End Times tale as written by people who don’t get it. The problem of course is that this whole production is messing around with people’s real life religious beliefs and essentially making them into a comic book, and not even a good comic book at that. Arnold Schwarzenegger lends his considerable acting skills to this brilliant tale about an ex-cop named Jericho Cane who finds himself wrapped up in a plot triggered by the devil himself. In an amazing, and unexpected, ironic twist Jericho is an atheist as a result of the death of his family, because in Hollywood everyone loses their faith when tragedy strikes. The devilish plot? The Devil (Gabriel Byrne) pops up in New York just before the turn of the century to find himself a filly to carrying his spawn. The woman, Christine York is under a little pressure since if he gets her knocked up he gets to leave Hell…

All of this is just like it says in the Bible.

Yes, Arnold does indeed tell the Devil to “go to hell” as he kicks his butt.
