No.



Christian Bale may be the best actor of his generation but even his intense performance can’t salvage a wobbly script. Bale’s portrays an ex-Army Ranger who, after his dreams of joining the LAPD fall apart, restarts his life of crime. This film delivers violence and cruel behavior but fails to support it by making a salient point. In the end, the audience gets to watch people brutally self-destruct but are given little for the experience.
