Promiscuous cartoon viewer that I was, even as a kid I never could figure out what the appeal of this one was supposed to be. A movie version . . . huh?
Oh, and Christina Ricci. That's two strikes against it.
Oh, and the Whatnhowski brothers?
This one never had a chance, except perhaps with the glue-sniffing crowd.
Cheers,
PGE
I couldn't say it better
This movie looks like a lot of fun. I never understood the appeal of the cartoon when I was a child, but the trailers I've seen have me hooked.
The trailers give you PLENTY of warning that there won't be a shred of good dialogue to be had, and that it's all about taking a ride and having brainless fun along the way in the greenscreen universe it creates. I wish 300 had been so honest in its adverts.
