Movie Watching Tip: Editing Tricks
This is a good piece on the ability of editing to alter reality. While this piece focuses on reality TV and not films, it is still good because it lays out very plainly how editing tricks can be employed to change how we think of something. The projected image is manipulable be it in film or on the news. Never believe your eyes when watching a screen because you're always, ALWAYS watching what someone else wants you to see.
