Fail-Safe (1964)
Should I see it?
Yes.

Fail-Safe

A very theatrical and thought provoking cold war film. American planes have been sent to bomb Moscow due to an electrical malfunction. Director Sidney Lumet provides a gripping drama that has dated quite well. The performances by Henry Fonda, Walter Matthau and Dan O'Herlihy are vibrant and fill out this fine production. If you're sick of flippant, dimwitted Hollywood flicks this is a good shot in the arm.

This movie also sports one of the greatest nightmare sequences ever filmed.
