This movie appears innocent enough, but therein lies the danger. Philip Pullman has openly voiced his desire to pull children out of belief in God into aetheism, to be the anti-Narnia author. The movie is in time for children to see it, and request "His Dark Materials" trilogy for Christmas. Unsuspecting parents will buy it and the third book encourages the character to "kill God" who is perceived as weak, inept and useless.
