Video: The MPAA and Ratings Creep (Repost)
There is a phenomenon known as Ratings Creep. Ratings Creep is when content of a film becomes more palatable over time as society's tastes coarsen. What was Rated-R in 1980 is now PG-13 or PG. What was PG yesterday is Rated-G today and so on.
